“The length of a film should be directly related to the endurance of the human bladder.”

I am a student at Sydney Film School and I produce promotional material in film, flash and print as a freelance business. I also (last year) produced some media for my brother's church.
I love writing, editing, cinematography, production design, photography & all the stupid, nonsensical things we as a human race so. So come say hi!
If you would like a dvd of this short film please let me know. This was made on 16mm film stock with some second generation high eight video footage and there is no way that a file of this minute file could possibly convey they duality this difference creates within the viewer and the story. Yeah... I should probably explain this one.
It was a part of a production by Phil Newman to celebrate the 26th Anniversary of Coastlife Church where in addition to doing some voluntary live directing, I produce some media for special events and stuff.
I was asked to produce a "moving" presentation that using a stock of old photos only, create something to edify the families and people that had been with Coastlife from the beginning.
I tried to use the photos chronologically and show the journey of the Church like the changing of seasons full of growth, change and love. Rather then the recorded sound you can hear here, I had my good friend Kim Voligoff play the song live and we used Mac Profile lights and a smoke gun to create a sillowet effect that would be impacting but not distract from the screen.
Yeah.... Thankx for the comment Lozza!
