Stuff that's going on....

Life's been kind of a roller coaster at the moment. My aunt and uncle from California came to visit about two weeks ago and they're leaving tomorrow at 7:45 to get back home. I'm going to miss them. It was nice seeing them and all, but just having them with me and then having to let go of them again is just a little hard for me to do right now. I have stuff going on that sucks.

One of my best friends has just about the worst home life ever. I with I could take her away from there and go back to California, where we're both originally from. She just gets so depressed sometimes and I feel like whatever I do for her it doesn't change. She's really lonely right now and I can't seem to change that for her. I know that I may sound like I'm trying to run her life by making everything better myself, but I'm not. I just hate feeling like I can't do anything. She might be able to spend the night Wednesday with my other best friend so that will be good for her. Give her a chance to not feel lonely and see that her friends are there for her no matter what.

School just ended about three weeks ago. I just finished driver's ed last Friday. I hated that class. Now I have to wait for them to call me for the driving part. That will be fun. at least I won't have the same teacher.

I'm not going to California this summer. I hate thinking, saying, and writing that. For the past two summers I've been going to California to stay with my aunt and uncle and my two friends for the entire summer. This year, we don't have any money to afford it. Damn gas prices. It really tears my heart at the thought of staying here for the summer. Not seeing all of my friends. I hate living here. I've hated it since the day I stepped out of the car and took a look at my new house. Sure, I love all of my friends that I've made here, but North Caroline just isn't the same as southern California. The beach is four hours away, when it used to be only 45min, all they have here are malls, everything is spread out so it takes forever to get anywhere, the weather is terrible, and the school system is screwed. I don't know what I'm going to do this summer. I've never spent a summer here before. I think I might have some sort of a mental breakdown. I'm not kidding. I seriously think that that's a major possibility. If not a breakdown, then definitely severe depression issues. I don't to have it, I just know how I react to things.
