This will be the lamest comment here but I have to be honest with myself and with you guys; when I don't see the words coming from Eric's mouth this whole manifesto is not more than one
'hippie good-will open letter' to me...
It is not nice to realize and even harder to admit it but that is the truth. I guess my deep interest in Eric is nothing but a mere affection to the way he acts/looks. There it is! I said it. Now I can just put down some comments. Learning oppressed people's language, reading philosophers, traveling the country are things we do when we want to reward ourselves, after a long day/week/year of boring soul-sucking work! so that we can afford to do all these. This is the reality. Another fact is all these activities mentioned in the manifesto do not produce anything (very selfish indeed).
One cannot help those oppressed people by learning their language, but by becoming an influential people to change what has been producing that cycle. One would not be able to look at space through a telescope if someone hadn't spent years of his life (ignoring the earth, or his family, or even space) to invent it. I understand the good will behind this manifesto, I just don't buy it... Does anyone care? I thought so...
Good will is always good if it belongs to a hottie !

Re: Debra Locatelli

May 07, 2008

I was going to come online and write about how much I hated the hating on “Stuff White People Like,” but it seems Debra has already done that for me.

Okay, I wasn’t really going to come online and write that. I’ve never heard of this seemingly lame blog, nor am I going to go online and check it out, after reading Debra’s analysis, because it sounds like it sucks, and I’m not giving it my hits.

So I’m basically just on here to say hi to everyone, and because, in the spirit of Debra and me switching inner selves, I was a little bit alarmed to re-read my manifesto and see that there wasn’t anything in there about my other interests, like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Did you know they are having twins? Omg.
(sorry Deb, I had to)

[ view all ]My Unauthorized Biography

Eric is a bum. He wore the same sweater in like every episode. First, he showed up to bum off his old pal Debra. Then he got after Dylan, whom he had nothing to offer but a smart mouth. Granted, sometimes people fight because they're hot for each other. But usually it's because their zodiac signs don't match or they hate each other's guts. Dylan was desperate, so she yawned and talked to him while she thought about her next video blog. Luckily, he had his arguments down pat and shared her interest in the environment. But of all interests! It's no wonder they couldn't seal the deal. What got me was how Eric got all up in Dylan's mother's face. I was like, "uh-uh. no he didn't." He barely know Dylan and he gon' spill tha haterade on her Moms? Hold up, dog.

Luckily Dylan saw it as chivalrous. And he had some moments of kindness. He did do the bike thing and the picnic thing. That was nice. But bummy. How much did that cost you, like $6? Get a haircut and take the girl out. Picnics are for parks, not graveyards. You sit on a picnic bench not a tombstone! Respect the dead, don't be a deadbeat! Get a job. Put on a non-flannel shirt that you can tuck in and then tuck it in! Shave! You want her to jump your bones, not throw you one. You want her to want you, not not mind you. Can you believe this guy!?
