Music
,There are so many good music out there, some that have already been discovered and the plenty that has yet to make a mark in the industry but are carving a niche in a listeners life. The ones that definitely made a mark in my life are the following: John Mayer,Michelle Branch,Gavin Degraw,Sara Barailles,The Fray,Anna Nalick,Ingrid Michaelson,Matt Wertz,Tyler Hilton,Switchfoot,The Police to name a few.
A little advice just go to AMOEBA MUSIC,and pick up some random cd on the used section,,
Television and Film.
,I fell in love with television in the era of TGIF,Saturday Morning Cartoon and The WB,once in awhile I still miss that tuxedo frog that sings before the commercials. Currently what clutters my tivo are the following: Chuck,The Reaper,One Tree Hill,Grey's Anatomy,How I Met Your Mother and everything else in between that fascinates me when I am channel surfing. There's a lot of TV history that is being made and it's hard to resist not taking part of it one way or another.
I am TV/Film student,,
Mari-Anne's Music
,For a time in my life I went out for a summer and played my own music in small bars and coffee shops in southern california. I just can't explain the rush of being on stage and sharing my songs to strangers that would take the time and listen to what I have to say. It's something I would love to do again. To be in a recording studio would be a dream come true, even if I come out of with a 3 track EP,it would be one of those surreal moments in my life.,
Career.
,It may come off as if I am torn between the industy of making movies and the love of making music. I feel as though I have found a solution to that dilemma of mine. My dream is to become a Music Supervisor and a successful one at that. To be able to break out new and unsigned artist and share great music to the world and give new bands and artist the outlet to let the world know that they exist is a goal I would like to achieve....and will ACHIEVE.,
Other than that, I write when I can, I make movies when I'm fortunate enough, I sing at the top of my lungs, I make music about the people that surrounds me. I play in front of people when they let me and I'm just trying to get by and living it up the only way I can.
Honestly, I still have moments of insecurities and vulnerability that creeps up on me time and time again.
