,I really like the whole Quarter life show it's amazing how they made this show so..life like...It's kinda like the REAL real world..nothing like that show were the lil boys and girls are catered to and there only problems is who's dating who NO...this show is real. thats a refreshing take on life and making new friendships/relationships for someone our age...

however, i think its important to note that you can't truly understand the many facets of your friends' personalities if you continually typecast them as "lisas"...even that character in and of herself has many quirks that would not be noticed at first glance. give your friends a chance.

Drowning alone,
Surrounded by friends,

Blaming yourself for things you had no control over.

Gorging yourself,
Yet starving do death.

Feeling numb,
Yet feeling too much.

Wishing to die,
Wanting to really live.

Using pain outside as an excuse to ignore the pain inside.

Crying,
But never shedding a single tear,

Being a friend to so many,
Feeling friendless.

Hating love for the hurt it's caused you,
Longing for it.

Screaming silently for help.

Loving someone,
Pushing them away.

Wanting help,
Being too afraid to ask.

Doing all the right things,
Getting all the wrong results.

Trying to make everyone happy,
Being miserable.

Being happy,
Disappointing everyone.

This is my life,
My coinciding contradiction.
