About me

I'm afraid I'm too old for this site, but I like it so I'm going to use it anyway. I still feel like I'm in that quarterlife crisis mode, but at almost 28, I've probably passed a quarter of my lifespan. I hope not, though. I am told that the Chinese don't enter the second cycle of life until they are 60, in which case I'm less than halfway through the first cycle, making me a quarterlifer if I plan to live through two cycles. Which I totally do.

Anyway.

I am typically not good at keeping it simple, but here's my attempt...

I am cynical, sensitive, a horrible bowler, idealistic, in love, competitive, a writer, an insomniac, a big dork, a sap, bored, an intellectual, creative, and a musician.

I dislike people who always need to be the center of attention, mean people, being cold, liars, adults who act like they're in middle school, people who try to get off the train before me and then walk really slow, and black Bic pens.

It's great to meet people who use MacBooks. Your welcome. Quarterlife IS a great community. So much going on it's hard to keep track of sometimes. I've mostly shot video of scenes in Hollywood without me in them, which I plan to edit into a very short short film in the near future. I'm with you on not wanting to see myself in film or hear my voice particularly, but I enjoy the shooting and editing process. Additionally, I recently got an idea for a serial video essay of infinite parts. Shooting video should inform my storytelling.

Great photography. Those everyday objects on your desk actually looked interesting and the pile of bugs was very aesthetic in a weird sort of way.

That is impressively good macro photography. Hand-held flash off the camera? It's so good it looks unreal. Is that a preying-mantis and are you feeding it something? Love the BG.
