Why would a Canadian care?

I watched the debate yesterday and I can see where someone would say Obama was condescending but I didn't read it that way. I can't remember who said this but someone in the recap afterwards said something along the lines of this.... he has this ability to absorb anything she said negative and then aknowledge her and turn it around. he always aknowledges her and tries not to put her down as much as she does him, I admire that even if it is a tactic it's still a breath of fresh air.

Am curious though about one thing... women voting in the US- Would you vote for Hilary just because she is a woman? Or were you drawn into the current campaigning because there was a woman in the running and then from there review all candidates? Personnally I think she just sounds like every other seasoned politician out there spewing recycled bs... but I do admire her and I think whatever the turn out this will change her hopefully for the better, but I would vote for Obama if I was from the other side of the border.

Why would a Canadian care? Because we want to like the US again!!!!! You have so much power to be a positive world leader!!!!! Honestly if the Democrats don't win I don't think I would want to travel in the US. Call me crazy but I just wouldn't feel safe being a Canadian in the U.S. Even though there are definetly some Republicans I like, I don't think I would feel safe.
