I'm into...WritingPhotographyFilmActingMindMusicTheaterOpera I'm working on... Kim Sherman (composer) and I just finished our opera, Love's Comedy, based on the early, brilliant, and utterly obscure play of the same name by Henrik Ibsen (known to generations of students as the "Father of Modern Drama" though he himself would quiver a bit at the label). It was given a lovely concert staging as part of the Mason Festival of the Arts on June 21, 2008. This was a truely enjoyable opera of world class level,it was one of the highlights of my GeorgeMasonFesival visit.Many thanks to Rick Davis for inviting me to see it.
