I'm into... Writing Photography Film Acting Mind Music Theater Opera
I'm working on... Kim Sherman (composer) and I just finished our opera, Love's Comedy, based on the early, brilliant, and utterly obscure play of the same name by Henrik Ibsen (known to generations of students as the "Father of Modern Drama" though he himself would quiver a bit at the label). It was given a lovely concert staging as part of the Mason Festival of the Arts on June 21, 2008. Now we are looking at refining the piece, and finding someone (or some several someones) to premiere the work.

This was a truely enjoyable opera of world class level,it was one of the highlights of my GeorgeMasonFesival visit.Many thanks to Rick Davis for inviting me to see it.

Thanks for the comments Rick.Many times had wanted to attend one of his public lectures but alas it never happened.Did that little graphic image notation on the sad day of his passing.
