Round two, here I come. Pinned down pin up, take me at face value. Déjà vu's dripping from my fingertips and before I stop to catch my breath, I'm momentarily caught up in your smile. Endearing, truly. That is if rat poison is considered gourmet these days. Well then if that's the case, sign me up for the all you can eat buffet! I live to gorge myself with your misery sweetheart, or should I say sweethearts. Bite by bite I'm burning bridges. What a respectable and self-rewarding existence. You're tripping over my words; well watch your step I hear the fall is a far cry from comfortable. Don't bother getting back up; another what's his face will be in your place by the time you get back here. My little black book seems to be longer than my patience these days. No games, just definitive control over your own life and emotions. Being a pretty little trinket on "what's his name's" arm is so last season and we are way over due for a wardrobe change.


If they can do it heck, so can we. Here's a side step away from a cliché, it's not me, it's you. You think I'm removed and plastic, by now you've already lost my interest. I'm not leading you on, just simply guiding you to the slaughter. I jest. The whole deer or should I say "dear" in the headlights deal has never been my cup of tea. Blind-siding you then throwing it in reverse is a specialty of mine. Remorse makes you look pretty cute; you should try it once in awhile. What can I say; I'm undoubtedly a softy at heart. You're a mindless indulgence who is as truthful as a presidential campaign and as faithful as an atheist. So maybe I won't make the cut for sainthood but I'm as straightforward as an obstacle-inhabited maze. Catch the satire and run with it.




You think I'm lovely, I think you're a slow motion train wreck. You're enamored, while I'm fairly exhausted. I admit I sound cold and jaded, more than anything I'm aware. Swear off me and I'll take my queue. I've played the sappy love canary before and I've been dealt all the wrong hands. Those days are distant memories now, there's no shame in a metamorphosis. Call it cocky or arrogant my label for this is discovering self worth and growth. This is where my stop starts and my ride ends. I'm the one derailed, fixated on marching forward. I only signed up for basic cable the rest is merely static.

The injections lethal but the aftermath makes it worth all the while. It's your all time highest low and you're just dying for another fix. Strap the band around your arm life junkie and get a hit of self intervention.
