Last weekend was a blast! After a sober month and a half, the noise of my insides asking me to take a timeout and enjoy a weekend was so loud that I bought a ticket for a hard rock concert – Puddle of Mudd’s. The band, as in their records, was simply awesome. I knew every one of their songs, and sang them so loud that I lost my voice for the rest of the weekend. It was worth it.
Not having drunk any liquor (save the ‘one light beer’ I had some three times), the continual gulping of four beers just took me to the alpha centaur itself. Jumping for each song and I had my time. Rest of the night was filled with another kind of much needed freak out medicine.
Saturday began with a heavy head, Starbucks to the rescue. Went to fishing for the first time in my life. I really hate fishing and golf. I simply cannot keep my hands still for ten minutes, not even for 10 secs. But the experience I should say, was interesting. The day was cold, and I, thinking we’d be back by dusk, wore just shorts and a tee. I was wrong. The wind chill was way too heavy for me. That kinda spoiled my experience. Learn't a few from friends, took some snaps. They’ve come out pretty well.
Started playing fantasy f1, let’s see how this year’s season goes. Albert Park’s race is just around the corner, and the wait has been long enough for my ears’ appetite for the tire screams to become very big.
Should post the pix….
