hi my name is penelope. most people call me penney. im 17 and i've been in college for almost year already. i turn 18 april 1st (04.01.1990) . and chances are i'll graduate college before i'm 21. i've always been ahead. it's not bc im from Haiti. bc even over there i was ahead. im a huge music, theather, and art fan. im a hopeless romantic who has commitment problems. however i am working on that. i've been with the same guy for a yr now (04.10.08). im interested in fashion and photography. most people look at me weird when i say that. cuz after a convo with me they think i wna be a politician or a journalist or something "deep" and "intelligent". can't i be smart, but want to pursue the artist in me?

YES.. IN LOVE IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM JUST LOVING SOMEONE. ALL THOSE FEELING ARE SO INTENSE AND WONDERFUL. THOSE FEELINGS CAN FADE WITH TIME AND LIFE HAPPENING TO IT. THEN YOU ARE LEFT WITH THE CHOICE TO STILL LOVE OR NOT. TO CHOOSE TO LOVE AFTER THE "IN LOVE" FEELING FADE, IS A SPECIAL LOVE ALL IT'S OWN... BUT IT DOESNT CARRY WITH IT THE CRAZY WONDERFUL "I'M ALIVE" FEELINGS WITH IT.. THATS WHEN A COUPLE, ALTHOUGH STILL LOVING ONE ANOTHER, MAY CHOOSE TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO "FALL IN LOVE" WITH. Costumer service. Has the meaning changed?

As we all know the economy is, well, horrible and the retail industry is struggling. Working in two retail stores myself, and i witness the changes first hand everyday. I found out today that customers are now bargaining in retail chain stores and are winning! Is the economy so bad that big chain stores are accepting what ever price they can get?! I remember when I was younger, when people didn't return items once they were bought, and in the few stores when one was able to return merchandise, it was very few condition under which one could and they were followed very closely. Now the stores have so few customers that they do whatever they can to make the customers happy even if it means taking back an item that is not in acceptable condition for re-sale. I don't really feel like getting "political", but i guess to it's safe to say that plan of his is not quite working out yet, but of course to be fair we have to see how we are doing this time nexy year...
