Let's hope I actually keep this up...
Keep doing it and doing it well! :D First things first...Change is good. Life molds you into something better and better with every year you live as long as you want it to be for the better. As you grow older you'll learn to be fearless. I have recently adopted a philosophy of fearlessness and it has since let me live a more fulfilling life. Roosevelt himself said "There is nothing to fear, but fear itself." What you referenced from Lit is true too "We are our own worst enemy." But since it is our experiences that makes us who we are, we can be our own best teacher as well. Going through life is pretty much trial and error, and since it looks like you've decided to get rid of your insecurities it looks like you're well on your way to becoming self-actualized or transcending your base self into someone that flourishes through their own creativity, spontaneity, lack of prejudice and acceptance of fact. Great job in the blog. Keep it up! Oh and good luck with the summer loving ;P

So, I'm back here in Anaheim for the weekend. I've only been here a day and I'm absolutely happy. :p I went back to my high school this morning because they had their prom assembly so I got to see all my younger high school friends and some great teachers that I extremely miss. I have to say, it felt so nice to go back there and feel so loved and missed. I felt like everyone asked me how my college experience was and how I was going and were truly genuinely interested--it's a nice feeling. I miss high school a lot, and being back there for the first time since graduating today was really hard, considering for 4 years I put so much effort, care, and dedication into that school through all the programs I was involved in, and now it's just in the hands of others and I'm supposed to sit back and watch. Although, I'm happy it doesn't seem to be going terribly downhill or anything so I'm glad to see my school is still in somewhat great shape :]

Besides that, being here with my family is amazing. I know it's hard when you live with them for so long and you're just like "I NEED TO LEAVE NOW"- but considering how far away I am from them now, well it's so nice to be here and enjoy the little time I do have with them before I have to go back to the world of finals and hardcore reading.

So far I can say [i]life is looking better.[/i]
