I totally went through the same thing. We cared to much for each other and when we were apart things were line but then every time it was just us we always ended up hurting each other. Like you said... nether of us wanted the other to leave. Then finally do to circumstances out side of my control I ended up having to leave rather suddenly. It hurt like hell and I couldn't shake her from my mind for like a month. Every time I closed my eyes I say her, I drempt of her every night. Now as time as passed our friendship is strong again. The real test is what will happen when I see her again in a few months...

So, said boy "Guppy" and I are once again off. Which is highly frustrating because we have this seriously disastrous relationship where we tear into each other on a daily basis, but at the same time we have this, I'm not sure how to describe it, it's like an intense need for one another. We just never seem to get the us part right until we aren't together. And if you're not together, you're free right? Which means anyone is game. So we treat each other so much better for fear of the other person finally taking the step that will actually end this for good. To be honest, as much as I love him and as much as I know he loves me, maybe someone should take that step because hurting each other so much is just brutal. Not to mention definitely not good for either of us. I don't know what to do anymore. Because while knowing we both need to just let go and move on, I can't even stomach the thought of hurting him at all because he's so amazing. It's just, sometimes it doesn't seem like he gives a damn if he hurts me. Which is just K:EFWHLKH.
