awkwardly placed vikings

tanner wants to take me out to lunch so we head off to this cute little starshollow esque village...you know where everyone is in their cute holiday sweaters all perched on the street corners trying to have a look of utter complacency, when really they are leaning over and pinching their kids arms whispering "i swear im gonna spank your ass so hard when we get home if we have one more scene like that mister, no gameboy for a week you little shit"
anyways so these people are all set up pretending to be thrilled by the christmas decorations not knowing that everyone knows they have no idea what the hell is going on, at least they got their family out the door for a day out on the town, and later theyll get some documentation in the form of photographs (from daddys new digital camera that he got from the business) so they can send out christmas emails and then look back and be like "oh remember kids? this is when we went out to and had all that fun? and we had that fabulous holiday pie?? remember??" and the kids smile and nod and do not remember it like mom pretends to. yeah so tanner and i are enjoying this and go into this nice mexican joint and eat some bomb quesadillas and churros(flashback to disney land???) we leave and notice everyone is no longer milling around the streets but down in the town square on the water. we walk down to see what all the comotion is about and then we realize, oh no, these people are all surrounding a stage full of awkwardly placed children from ages 7 to 12 (and one dude that was like my age wtf??) dancing around in circles to the sound of a screeching violin, apparently this was Scandinavian dancing, but it just looked like a bunch of FAS infected chaos...and as if this wasnt enough everyone starts to move north east to snag a look at these middle aged (sober) fruitcakes dressed up as vikings with torches. now i was really stoked. then they did some slow mo, very rehearsed choreography, and it got, if possible even more awkward to watch... then?? they....lit a bonfire and everyone just sat there.
