About me

I keep to myself. I stay away from drama. I'm real chill and laid back. Real easy to get along with. I sometimes come off like I don't care, but the truth is I sometimes care too much. Still learning myself, its tough, but so am I.

Interests

Interests

,Everything. I love learning about new things, travelling, and exposing myself to different cultures, backgrounds, people, and places.,

Family

,My parents are going to celebrate thier 40th wedding anniversary next month. WOW! That just boggles my mind. I'm the youngest, one sister, one brother. 3 Nieces.,

Art

,My biggest inspiration was my brother. Growing up in the 80's I was exposed to Grafitti as my first medium of art. Sounds funny, but I was hooked. Art was something I would walk away from, but always came back to. The discipline of art was a struggle for me,but in my heart it was so natural.

,

Work

,Baltimore/ Washington International Airport,

This is wonderful, good proportion...my eyes are constantly looking every where to see if I notice anything new in the drawing.

I really love the small details, especially the faint dots on the dice and the hands on the clock in the background. And the shadows. Very nice.

Thank so much for the compliments :-D , I really like your still lifes, they look very detailed...I haven't drawn a still life in so long. I have the urge to get back into messy fine art, lol. I went strictly digital for like 3 years. Quarterlife is inspiring me in new ways :-D

LOST SOUL

Mar 18, 2008

Lost soul.

What was once a ray of light is now cold darkness
As it rips through the flesh, my heart never rests

The fog grows and moves against the rain
Storm clouds rush through over passion and pain

Hidden demands came out to torture this soul
One heart stopped as the other one folds

Two hearts crash and fall in a never-ending spiral drop
Eternally they burn, but the flame seems it might stop

To both souls this ray of light is starting to dim
Without love, the door stays closed, no way in

The rain falls, wind blows, waves swallow the land
Without faith, the beach has lost all of its sand

His thoughts of tortured self inflicted pain
Three words from her can clear the storm and stop the rain

Only her voice can stop the stream of blood
But that's forever gone so is this thing called love

No words spoken his soul is now gone
All his thoughts... "How the fuck did I let this go wrong?"

Along with his pride, his ego, and his heart
A realization that they are now worlds apart

The moment a lost soul found a strong rock
Her sweet tenderness had the key to his lock

She brought him to face his fears and stand up strong
She helped him grow, and they really got along.

His soul was lifted higher than any bird can sore
He was with love but now with the earths core

A broken heart now buried and lonely again
All that's left is a memory of how it all began

Her soul is stronger than steel and can handle the pain
Her love is strong and heart is bigger than any mountain

Her touch is delicate and has the sweetest kiss
Her beauty shines bright, and laughter will all be missed

.......

As the storm grows stronger his soul weakens
The lighthouse falls hard and no longer beacons

The demands attack what's left of his soul
Torn apart there's no longer a need to grow old

What's left, why go on when the soul is lost
Water runs dry, winds blow cold, no roads crossed

Nowhere to go nowhere to run, why go on
She lives knowing she did nothing wrong

The sun has set on his soul, no more light
His hearing gone, he feels nothing and has no sight

If the storm ended, could his soul find hers ever again
Would she know his love never changed from back then

This lost soul will never give up, there is always hope
He has drowned before but learned how to float

His love for her is strong his heart ready to burst
New storms come but none stronger than the first

.........

The poem is only for her to understand,
only she can see the art.....

The only thing he could NEVER lose
Is knowing she has touched his heart

...........

So when we spoke yesterday, u said I sound like I lost my soul

Well the truth is my soul lost me, I'm stuck in this storm that feels so cold.......
