I am a dreamer, a hopeless romantic, a lover, a passionate and compassionate person. I am a river, flowing and never ending, sometimes I make bends but in the end I get to my destination. I am fire, warm and inviting, but if you play with me you may be burned. I am a rock, you can pick me up, throw me like a stone and bruise me, but in the end I'll be ok. I am like the air, sovereign in my own way, blowing and promoting change. I'm darkness, but if you search me enough you'll find light.

Though enough with poetics. My name is AJ Michael (most know me as Antuan) and I am a freshman attending Columbia College Chicago, majoring in Writing/Producing and Directing Televison! I'm also a filmmaker and musician. My goal is to become a screenwriter, as I am a very passionate writer and I believe the screen is a great medium to translate verbal ideas to the visual.

I am fun, outgoing, loving, social, reserved at times, intelligent, conversational, passionate, unique, quirky, a kind of individual who doesn't want to use a lot of these adjective to describe himself, who wants people to see this themselves.

Oh, yeah, sometimes, I do talk about myself in 3rd person.

As I travel the road of continual renewing of self, the new discovers of the soul, the revelations of the heart, I find that I am my own, but I am also you. As I align my body, mind and soul; melding them into one entity, I am able to grow closer to you, Love is always with me.

And so as I travel through life, I can only hope that as we all connect, that we realize we are each other's keeper. We are here to take care of one another and this earth, if we continue to be blind to this part of our destiny, decadence will follow the generations to come.

As I learn to let go of the past and let the future come in due time, I learn to live in the present and gain moments so dear, moments that will be in my heart for the rest of my days, always.

I am a simple being, with so many complexities. Fear me if you must, Love me if you do. I am human, and when you understand that, you'll see that I am my own, but I am also you...
