About me

i'm addicted to sugar, brownies are my favorite baked good, i could live off of pizza, speaking of - it's completely true that pizza and pasta (and pretty much anything for that matter) tastes better in italy, i recycle, i love movies and tv but dont want that to make me sound like a couch potato, study abroad gave me the travel bug and i cant wait to go someplace new, i've traveled more in europe(in 4 months) than in the US (in 22 years), i used to be pretty fluent in spanish until living in italy - now i cant keep them straight, i love tubing in new hampshire in the summer, i hate sunburns (which inevitably come with the tubing), i love meeting new people!

Interests

MOVIES

k , i'm just gonna start listing: oceans 11 , star wars , lord of the rings , harry potter , pirates , life as a house , juno , enchanted , pride and prejudice , transformers , national treasure , big daddy , classic disney (lion king , beauty and the beast , aladdin , little mermaid , etc) , shrek (1&2) , tristan and isolde , spiderman 2 , elf , moulin rouge , under the tuscan sun , when do i run out of space here?

TV

i'm in love with grey's , moonlight and ghost whisperer. unfortunately , i felt like grey's was running out of steam a little bit before the writer's strike , so hopefully they can come back full force. moonlight is new this year and AMAZING. i'm curious to see how long they can keep it new and exciting. ghost whisperer never gets old. there's always an amazing new ghost story to tell and i cant see myself ever getting bored

music

i have a big appreciation for music in general , and am very supportive of those trying to make it in such a competitive and crazy business. as for those who have made it , i tend to like a lot of different styles , from pop and alternative to oldies and classical. for the past two years my favorite song has been "chasing cars" by snow patrol. it speaks my soul

books

i loooove reading but unfortunately dont get much time to read. i am addicted to harry potter - make fun if you want , i'm not ashamed. jk rowling is a literary genious - i am baffled at her unbelievable talent. a few others i have read and loved - "my sister's keeper" , "kite runner" , "secret life of bees" , "angry housewives eating bon bons" , "animal dreams"

My kitchen does not smell like cantelope anymore, but it was wretched. As for the best friend thing, well I have always believed that a person can only have one BEST friend--- Tell you what, I hate to get all "90210" up in here but I don't think my current best friend would mind if I let her off a little early. My previous best friend is coming back from Europe on the 21st, so if you don't mind being my best friend for only a week we can start immediately! ...I'll let you think it over...

Oh, yeah, the being broke thing... sometimes preferable than having a "real job." Boston area I'm assuming, doing what?

this scene is oddly familiar.... so are there no knives in MA or is that just how pineapples are done down there? P.S. I'm not judging, I'm simply Canadian and therefore don't know any better.

you have some kind of phobia about eating oranges? a squirt in the eye never hurt anybody... (what would corey say about that little comment?) it's funny how the school of architecture devolves into a bunch of middle-schoolers late at night!

Thanks for the comment (last week? Yeah I'm a bit slow on the up take right now...), but I see you got a few new works up, look forward to checking them out tonight. How'd the semester end?

Normally it is not until late July that I make a fool of myself on my bike-- so either this means that it is over and done for the year or I should start wearing full body protective gear now. I hope this year is a 'crumple'-free year for you.

Heh thanks for the compliments. Jeremy's form relating to the form of the branches was a total freak accident but I see what you mean. And yes I did tinker with the shot of the stairs in photoshop.

So they keep the whole bar chilled just for the vodka? Pretty nifty idea. I think they have something like this in Los Angeles. It's a vodka tasting room where they have all sorts of exotic vodkas. You put on a fur parka just like the one you're wearing and enter the room. It's pretty expensive to get in but it's all you can taste as long as you can hold your liquor.
