well, we actually dated for a really long time, and im moving back near her in like a month or so, i think things will be fine, just gotta make it through the next month and a half

"E Pluribus Unum," my friend. From many, one. It doesn't just mean many states, one country. It means many peoples, one nation. I get what you're saying, and I even kind of agree that the idea of Hyphenated Americans does present a problem in our nation by emphasizing our differences. But our strength comes from our diversity, and allowing minorities who have immigrated or are the sons and daughters and grandchildren of immigrants allows for a celebration of those previous cultures, and even maintaining those cultures within the nation as a whole. I personally feel that most every minority has assimilated into the American culture for the most part, and maintains that hyphen as a connection to what came before, saying "We are American, but what does that mean? The American culture is an amalgam, and we are proud of our people's contribution to that culture." Personally, I'm a straight up American mutt. But I respect the hyphens, too, as long as it's diversity they celebrate, and not difference.

Yeah I know exactly what you're saying. What's weird is that more "normal" characters like Jean, or i don't really know how to phrase it, are more challenging for me to play than totally off the wall crazies, which I'm use to doing. I like your input tho. I was playing the character instead of being her, which is a no no. The funny thing was I kinda knew I was doing it while it was happening. But let me know what you think about other scenes as I put them up. I always need something to improve on and a specific direction helps out a lot.
