Chillin at my buddy Jason's house to celebrate our dear friend Shannon Buttelman's sold painting at her art gallery. She's the cutie in the purple dress that plays doubles in pool later in the vid. My buddy Jason (of Lungbutter) entertains his guests with the acoustic version of his song, "Tony Hawk". Enjoy!
hey if you liked that check out my other stuff www.reverbnation.com/joshhughes
Sure will. And if you want to you can share your shows on this thread. That's why I set it up so that anyone who attends shows/concerts or any other live performances they can post it on here. But I guess you wanted to dedicate a thread to Jack Hughes which is cool too.
yes it is miles davis, like, right before his death. i actually never did see miles play, unfortunately. he died when i was ten, and i would have been too young to be exposed to his heroin-using ways.
good musician, though. even when he was high (probably always).
Heh yeah. that probably was true. But you know what they say, "No junk no soul." I wonder if most musicians out there in the druggie culture could write the things they wrote if they were completely sober or never been exposed to drugs. I've written a couple songs under herbal influence and might not have written them if I never smoked.

i found a video of miles davis playing "human nature." check it out over at the jazz thread ("jazz, and dex's favorite mj tune"). i would link to it, but i still can't figure out the html on these forums.
i still recommend buying the 12 minute track from itunes, or whatever source. you can find it on the album "live around the world."

Attended an LA.COM party at the Bonaventure Hotel patio in LA. This poetess came up between sets of DJs spinning. Very inspiring for all artists. Excuse the drunk dude in the background

Doesn't anyone have a show to share? It doesn't have to be a concert or musical performance. It could be a live poetry reading, a karaoke standoff, a play, or a comedy skit on stage. Share your shows!

Show at Friar Tucks in Pomona. Franchi$e on rhythm and vocals, and Jason (lead guitarist in Lungbutter - www.myspace.com/lungbutterness) on lead. It was hella fun playing up there.
