The Virginity Thing

Insomnia's taking its toll on me tonight...

So in the few weeks I've been a member of QL, I've talked about my virginity in multiple threads. That amuses me somewhat. I don't really mind talking about it. Hell, I used to be in a Facebook group called Virgins Anonymous lol.

I've heard various opinions about this whole deal, and I respect everyone's right to their opinions. The thing about my virginity is...well...it's MY virginity. And it's not just something I can give to some unimportant schmuck no matter how awesome sex may be.

I have this trust thing, which I'm sure I'll eventually discuss in a post. Basically, I have some trust issues (blame my lackadaisical father). And I couldn't have sex with someone I couldn't trust. I just can't do it. I've had the opportunity to get laid, but I walked away because it wasn't right for me.

When I do have sex with someone, it'll be with someone I trust and love, someone I believe I could be with forever. I'm not saying that I'll wait for marriage, and I'm not saying I won't either. I'm pretty sure I could do it. Just don't know if I wanna do it. Though if I fell for a guy who wanted to wait, I'd most likely be fine going along with it.

And don't misunderstand me. I'm not building my first time up to be this grand experience. I'm a realist about that lol. But that exchange is a pretty big deal for me.

And yeah I don't think this post really had a point, but I don't care lol
