Gentlemen Take Note

OY...Gentleman take note...Many have heard me speak of my beloved Tom. He really missed me while I was away for three weeks.

He let it slip that he had purchased my favorite cookies ( I ate two whole boxes in three days and last night discovered three more boxes in the freezer!). Upon my arrival, he was Johnnie on the spot to pick us up from the airport, and when I got home...a brand new computer. He came home with heart covered coffee cups and cute stuffed matching bears.

Then he told me the oh so cute incident of him wearing his tux jacket to work by mistake because I was not home to lay out is clothes...

Over the course of many years, he learned not to give waffle irons and fishing rods. I'd rather get nothing than appliances for an event. He also knows that I really do not require gifts at all, and most times make him swear not to get me anything.I enjoy his generosity through out the year, so much more. Oh... and the ultimate super package of double A batteries!

Well...slick devil that he is. Looks like he was buttering me up for that killer appliance that arrived special delivery last night!

The Dyson Vacuum from Hell...I mean that in a good way! He must have felt badly when he saw me on my hands and knees brushing up pet hair from the carpets. We are now shocked by the fact that the old vacuum and maid had been simply moving the dirt around for over 10 years.

We spent hours last night vacuuming the bedroom and filling the collector three times with all the blonde hair embedded in our blonde colored carpet! (Choopy the Wonder Dog is the blonde mini-Lab).

Now, I can't wait to get busy trying out all the cool attachments! What a very clever guy! Such a huge investment just to get me to vacuum .

He sounds like an incredibly sweet guy. I hope to find a similar sense of romantic camaraderie in my own pursuit of marriage someday. And thanks for reading my Oscar review. Yeah, the Coens are geniuses and I've always admired their quirky and visionary ways.

All I hear about these days are those new vacuums. It's too bad I have wood floors now. Brooms are the best!

A vacuum from your man is a nice gift if it is out of the blue and not a birthday or Christmas present. Nice guy - you should keep him.
