Me vs. My stuff...

So I am on the last leg of packing up all of my worldly possessions and it occurs to me that I don't like having so many things attached to me. I mean, there are definitely things I cannot live without but mostly I have a terrible habit of keeping useless junk, mostly sentimental things.

I spent the last few days condensing all of my things down to five boxes, four duffle bags and three trash bags. And it feels good, almost a catharsis of relief not just physically but mentally.

I should have done this years ago.

It does feel good. I sent 3 truckloads of 50 gallon trash bags to the Goodwill...all clothes, shoes and coats.
