I'm working on... I'm a complete mess. I think the best description of me is a crazy Jazz ensemble with a few solos mixed in- I'm utter organized chaos. I currently am a photographer in Portland, Oregon, but I am also into making film, art, I write and give advice on relationships and parenting. My most important job at the moment, is staying at home with my five kiddos while I do all these other things.

Intro to Jyn
It's great that you have such a large family, not many people do these days. My parents have 7 children, including me of course. I love living in a big family, there's always something to do or some one to talk to, we have alot of fun. You should go ahead with your idea, I think it would be fascinating to watch. :-)

Because Some People Have Meat in Them

So, I just had a serious talk with my son about threats and what is absolutely inappropriate. For some reason, Danny my 5 yr old has figured out that threatening to kill someone gets a big reaction, so he gladly uses it on Jacob, my 4 yr old.

Jacob: "Mamaaaaaa, Danny has a knife and he told me he was going to [b]kill[/b] me!"
Me: "[b]WHAT?!!! DANIEL ABRAM GET IN HERE NOW...!!!"[/b]
Jacob: " Mom, sometimes people have meat in them..."

Five and four year olds don't understand the depth of all of this. We dont watch any television other than PBS for this reason. Normal TV has so much adult matter, there is no way my kids can understand and separate it.

"Mom, what is a '[b]count of sodomy[/b]'? Is that like the count on Sesame Street?"

I picked up my camera and talked to Jacob about what it means to him to die and the subject. Hopefully someone will find the footage useful for their own kids. But I really do feel that parents have become out of touch with their kids. Kids have become numb to pain and hurt- they havent had empathy instilled in them and they dont connect with others.

I'm not saying all kids who go on a shooting rampage had parents that failed them- but this is a growing epidemic- one I plan to nip in the bud in my household.
