i'm not really a big fan of mtv, but i got glued to it one time when i chanced upon this rapper guy named akon who was looking so sincerely while talking about his poverty-stricken homeland, senegal.

yes people, the same guy who has songs with lyrics like, "wanna jump up in my lambourghini gallardo?" and "money no problem, pocket full of that now!".

man, so-fucking-what? tell that to people in third world countries like ours and you'll get driven by (if that's what you call it).

i just saw the new 50 cent video last night.

can somebody release a rap video without half-naked women dancing in the background?

just a simple message to a lot of mainstream rappers:

can you at least for once shy away from songs that talk about partying, flashing your cars and jewelries, and how many girls came up to you at the bar and ended up in bed with you last night? i mean "it's getting hot in here" could be, "it's getting really humbling in here that i should stop talking about my fame and fortune and just be thankful that while i stare at this 'momma's' ass 'in da club', some dude out there is too poor to even get a bitch of his own".

now unlike those self-centered rap artists... i'm always broke. good thing i'm smart enough to have squeezed something out of it. i seem to have mastered the art of borrowing money... i asked a workmate if he has two 50-peso bills (then i pulled out a 100-peso bill as if needing to change). clueless workmate brings out the two 50-peso bills..
"oh there you go.. thanks!", says i.

"can i borrow the other one?"

i may not look like a dude who listens to death metal but i do listen to that kind of music, in fact i was close to becoming a part of a death metal band back in college. my would-be bandmates though did not like my ideas for a band name. you see, those kind of bands, they tend to get such intense names as dismember, entombed, decapitated or any deadly disease you can't even pronounce. i figured that to veer away from the lot, a good start would be to acquire a less intense name.

my suggestions were injured, slight fever and loose bowel movement.

florante and heber bartolome.. two folk artists who seem to have the philippine flag embedded in their hearts. just how many patriotic songs have they written.. this deviant is definitely a huge huge fan.

too bad i have to go to the states to get their autographs as they have since migrated.

here in the philippines, tattooed people are easy targets for social discrimination.

yes, even if you ink yourself up with images of christ, mary and all the angels and saints.

eventhough he himself has tattoos, my dad scolded me when he saw my first ink.

for my second tattoo, i got an alibata writing on my left calf that translates, "pogi tatay ko" in filipino or "my dad is handsome" in english.
i'm smart like that.

my dad told me he beat out a paul mccartney look-alike for my mom's heart.

i have three friends who are taking up law. i told them to do good in their studies.

so when i finally decide to push through my plan of getting the better of my very hot neighbor, i have somebody to save me from prison.

my four-year old niece was so jealous of her one-year old baby brother that she told her mom to poison the poor baby. that night, mom saw daughter putting alcohol in baby brother's milk bottle.
