Thank you. Yeah, the photo is disappointing. It was taken in 2001 with a film camera (I did not yet have a digital) and the picture was scanned. Unfortunately I no longer have the painting since it was sold that year.

Well the person in the picture isn't actually me. I took the photo at a race last year. You're absolutely right about the text. It was originally from the first version of the image and I didn't change it to reflect my changes.

Good luck with the election,am curious are your associates for Hilary or Oboma or largely undecided.Up here in Canada we watch with great interest.Many of us,myself included are very inclined for Mr Oboma.I was a young man during the JFK years and the feeling we had then isn't dissimilar to how we feel about Barrack now.I don't dislike Hilary per se but it's hard not to think of all the baggage she brings with her,don,t you think?

This is a wonderful mix of your art and your athleticism,especially love the colours.Maybe the text could use a little updated tweaking to bring it into contexti.e. it doesn't convey the same looseness of style and flexibility of the subject,just a thought.

This work may well be brilliant,it's not possible for me to say simply because the light from the flash or other reflections alters the orignal image considerably.I'm no professional when it comes to cameras but experience has taught me that if you shoot a work out doors on a bright day the difused light does wonders for authentic reproductive shots.Good luck!

The way the filter reduces the detail and creates areas of color is dramatic and creates beautiful color contrasts.
