I'm sure you've lived out this scenario: You have a favorite article of clothing--jeans, for instance. You've had them for years, and they're perfect. Fit exactly the way you want, they're comfortable as can be, etc. However, each time you wear them, the hole in the knee gets a little bigger, they fade more and more with each wash, the cuffs get harder and harder to clean...Until one day you look at them, and they're just done. You finally admit you just can't wear them out anymore; they don't look as good asthey used to, no matter how much you love them. I think adulthood is something like that. I think it happens gradually, and one day you just decide to commit to it. I think committing to adulthood is an important part of it, but I also thinking being happy with the committment is just as important. I'm surrounded by a lot of friends who I feel are taking a dive into adulthood because they think it's what we're supposed to be doing at this age. "I've graduated college, so I have to be an adult now"..."I shouldn't go out as much, because Im too old for that",etc. I hate this idea. I feel bad for these friends, because I feel like they're making a huge mistake(maybe one of the biggest), and they will regret this for the rest of their lives. I think childhood is something you should just get over naturally. Once you become an adult, you're an adult FOREVER. Being young and childlike isn't something to be taken lightly. I'm sure you've been in a situation where you've looked at teenagers, or college freshman and thought, "You have no idea how awesome life is for you"..Real grownups look at us and think the same thing; I hate when people our age consider themselves old...When we're truly old, we'll know it.

This is really great! You're phrasing and tone are very similar to those of a friend of mine. Sounds awesome! Great job!

Is it just me or can you make out gnarly shapes of animals within the tree bark? I see a scorpion and owl so far. Do you see what I see?

That looks to me like a distorted painting of Jim Morrison. Wicked cool if it is. And Amsterdam is one of my top 10 places to visit if I ever get the chance to travel to Europe.

I totally remember this commercial. Not because the chick in it was redunculously cute, but cuz of that darn downtown song! Couldn't get it out my head when I first heard it. It'll probably stick around for a few hours up there till I hear something else immensely catchy.

OMG!

Apr 10, 2008

I am so bored. Ugh, I love my job, don't get me wrong, it's just being on a damn set all day can be boring! I mean, when I get to do stuff it rocks but this sitting around while a crappy director runs this show slowly into the ground kinda blows. I sit at my computer, emailing, I.M-ing, surfing, i text on my phone and still I am bored. So bored I'm writing a blog about how bored I am. God, you must be pretty bored to be reading this. Thank goodness there are minors on this show and we HAVE to be out of here in 45 minutes.
