Haha...I think this is another situation of the scene actually cheating on the photo. I was in Shanghai and this was a small Bamboo forest they were maintaing. It was really cool to walk around in.
Once again you show your good instinct for when to press the button - another heartbeat and everything here would be undone. I especially like the depth and elaborate organization on the left side, and the place you've found for the girl. The two girls follow the verticals of the horse's legs, and the girl on the right has a fine gesture that parallels the part in her hair; her elbow is nicely placed in the space behind her.
Once again you have the clouds doing interesting things in the background - obviously it's not a coincidence. What about those two on the left, by the wall? Did you get a closer one of them? (They look like people...)
I've been meaning to comment on this one for a while, without quite knowing what it was I had to say. It's the forms rather than the formal design. Despite the fact that it doesn't conform to my notions about composition, I return to it because I like looking at it so much. Isn't that the important thing? (I'm really asking.)
Fine composition. The long lines are beautifully balanced, and it is bold to put the main focus on the extreme right (that, at any rate, is how I see it; the one toward the center has less emphasis).
