I agree completely with what you have said here. Art, be it painting, drawing, poetry, photography, music, or what not, must be created from the soul. It has to have emotion in it and if someone cannot come into contact with it and not leave knowing the pain, struggle, joy, or freedom that was the purpose of it, then it has truly made a difference. Gandhi once said, “you must be the change you want to see in the world.” So keep on making your art, listen to your heart and create what it tells you. Like you said, it won’t always be the greatest but there will always be that one lost person who is saved by your soul that you place into your art.
