Updates: Karaoke, Friends, and Coming New Songs

I started joining a friend of mine for Karaoke nights whenever I had the night off, and I've been getting an awesome response. I've also met this guy who is amazingly musically talented and perhaps he'll help me write a few more songs to post around here.

Meanwhile, I've been working on a few cover songs, but I'd like to do a good music video for them before I post them up. That way I can put them on YouTube as well.

I'd also kinda like to show my ex-best friend how I don't need her stupid criticism. I just need my music. And I'll do fine on my own without her and her complaints about how I'm not being professional because I don't have professional equipment and whatnots. Well, hello? Of course I'm not going to have professional equipment, I don't have that kind of money lying around.

But that's another tangent for another day, or even perhaps another song. I don't know yet. Still it's angst that can be harvested for more creative purposes than this update.

I'm slowly getting over my stage shyness by doing the Karaoke thing. My friend keeps telling me how good I'm doing, and seeing as she's an awesome singer herself, and tells me when I fuck it up big time, I believe her when she says I'm doing good. Next time, I'll have to have her record me so that I can share that with you.

I wish I updated more, but I've been busy with my 9-5 which sucks major ass right about now.

Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear about the job, but it sounds like good things are happening on the musical front. We'd love to hear more songs or a video when they're ready. I'm glad to hear you're defeating your stage shyness!
