this is perfect. the texture is amazing and the figure has the most interesting pose. i admire the layers and the color coming through the background. very well done.

I think this is just brilliant. The texture is rough, "natural" - but also is carefully composed; the vector that meets his head gives this cartoon-like image depth and suggests things beyond the frame. It's witty and ironic - the coat, the expression on the lips - but gloomy or even dangerous at the same time (a car accident at night?). There's truth in the gesture of the head turning, of the hands in the pockets of the raincoat. An awful lot has been done by suggestion here.
