Saw a bit of your blogspot. Good luck with the video montage. I totally get how you feel. I know how its like to be sheltered and taught to not only think inside the box, but I had to live in it too :( That's some Catholic upbringing for ya. Try this: make a list of about 10 things that you want out of life. Then spend the next ten years trying to acquire/accomplish them. There's a big world outside of Michigan. I'm sure your mom's intentions are good in that she'd want you to be prepared to face it.
