Social Butterfly

Does she have to put up with this, she wonders as she sits with the people who once reminded her of herself.
Is it possible for her to just dissapear, even if only for a moment.
She thinks back to simpler times, but finds the memories crushed beneath the sorrow of today.
Maybe its for the better, that she can't remember the way things used to be, the girl she used to be.
The person she has become is nothing she ever wanted to become, nothing she could have even imagined.
So is it really bad, to finally evolve from the situation and become a butterfly?
It may not be bad, if her wings were present, but like everything else in her life and like who she used to be, they are gone.

This is a wonderful piece. It has a lot going on in it and though I don't know what's REALLY going on with her, I don't NEED to know...I still feel the pain of the situation. More comments in a message I'm about to send, :-)
