Today is my last day at my current job, a very part-time position (averages about 10 hours per week) in a library. I got my Master's degree 2 years ago and have been at this job ever since, and for the past year I've been actively seeking a new job. The first year I had hope that this would turn into a full time position, but that didn't happen. I finally have my first-ever full-time job (summer camp counselor in high school does not count) and it's working with children, and plenty of on-the-job training. It's an hour and a half from me, but Huggy Bear lives a lot closer so it won't be a bad commute at all once I move in with him. In a lot of ways it's a dream come true for me.



Then why am I so nervous? I want to write a whole long blog talking about it, but I have to leave in ten minutes and still have to get ready to go. Next time you see me I'll be done with that job and I'm kinda sad to see it go, but let's face it. 40 hours a month doesn't pay the bills at almost $16/hr.
