ladies and gentlemen
ladies and gentlemen
tonight you are all
in for a treat.

for tonight
you are all
about to meet:
a poet.

with, just enough
arrogance to seem
overconfident.
overly bent

on broadcasting
his own brand of
social
repentance.

so tonight my friends
i'd like to welcome you all,
to the poetic debut
of SaY-10.

now when i step to the mic
i make the floorboards quiver,
with friction of nonfiction
making it feel as if heatwaves are taking over in the winter.

my mouth spits ink
from the ball point pen
that sings a sweet syrinade
to my notebook.

as the fresh, ink splashed
pages inside, are like
monthly weather forecasts,
of poetry slam gun blasts.

my mind's a sawed-off shotgun
cocked with a sure shot of words.
though aimed at my enemies amounting
these bullets aren't meant to hurt

but these words, are meant to inspire
like kinder, to the fires of riots.
my words also unite.
so together we'll transpire to,

bad deeds in need of correction,
buildings in the projects that need to be erected,
and politicians with sane, right mind
and good intentions that need to elected.

so say-10's this name i've selected
to breathe a breath of anarchist spirit to your soul
and i guarantee when you hear it,
your mind and body with be infected, as a whole.

with the habit of holding up a clenched fist,
to those who wish to oppress.
and kicking up a steel-toed boot,
to those with guns, intent to shoot.

in my writing, i
reap the fruits of evolution.
mix it up with
the juice of revolution.

serve that bitch all up in a cup
while preaching
real life sollutions
to cure this world of its complacency pollution.

so to those of you that
think they hold all the cards
and to those you you that push paper
breeding bureaucracy in shady underhanded capers.

the power of the people
will rise again and
have say-10
as its voice to commend.

so!...be ready my friends...
be loyal to yourselves...
keep your mind right...
and keep a watchful eye on your health

for when we ALL stand up
we will do so running with
chins up and chests out
signaling the end of this era

signaling the end of this
tyranny of ignorance.
ushering in, the new era
where everyone's voice,

will be heard and choice
will be made not of influence
but of the gold standard we've always used
