Nobody's Somebody

Nobody's somebody against my own will. Alone in this world with nobody to belong too. Searching for that something, that someone that may never be found.
Nobody's love has left my heart free to harden and freeze. Yes, without that love I haven't the pain that love lost will cause. But a nobody's somebody has no one to love, no laughter, no joy.
I am nobody's daughter. Abandoned, then taken in, yet never taken ownership of. Feeling forever on the outside wanting to belong. Always longing for that familiar warmth, and never really finding it.
Nobody's somebody leaves me a ghost in this world. A whisper of existance. A familiar stranger to my own eyes.



I wrote that a while ago, and for some reason forgot about it. I thought I had found someone and became someone's somebody. Then that hope came crashing down about a month ago. Without a word of goodbye he just dissappered. That pushed me back into that same familiar haunting shell.
I didnt think I could hurt so much as I did when I realized what was going on. I still cant seem to cut my heart free of him. Part of me wants to be angry with him, but i honestly cant find it in myself to be.
