I’m invisible to the naked eye
I Speak
You go
I Scream
You don’t even know
I cry
But who takes notice?
No one.


Is there anyone out there
To hear my plea
My world is empty
As far as my eyes can see

One by one
They drop like flies
Until there are none
To think I didn’t even get a goodbye

I won’t lie
It tears me apart
To know that there just wasn’t
Enough room for me in their heart

No, I’m not talking
About one specific person
But everyone
Who is too involved with themselves
To care about anyone
Whose problems they might not be able to solve

This setback doesn’t have a solution
But maybe this is what’s supposed to happen all along
You’ve just triggered fate into motion
I’ve never felt so abandoned
Or this Alone
Separated from the world, if you paid attention
You would have known

Sure, you need to win your battles
But everyone has to put up a fight
Everyone is forced to pick sides
A battle forms into a war
People are starting to get hurt
And where am I in this scene?
In the very middle
The worst place to be
The first shot is taken
I know you didn’t aim for me
Which is exactly what hurts the most
You don’t want me to be involved with me
You don’t want to talk to me, see me, hear me

I walk off the battlefield
Making my way out of sight
After all, I’m not going to be
Part of this fight
As much as I want to be there
Standing with all, trying to make peace
I know that truly, I don’t belong anywhere

Jealousy takes over
Injuries are made, hurt spreads around
I’m watching from the sidelines

I’m just another annoyance
In their eyes

Of course they don’t notice

Who listens to the nuisance?
I do whatever I want
Whether it be for better or worse
No one cares, no one sees
The scars from all of the

In my life
Anything to make me feel alive

You go on with your pointless violence
No one bothers with me
Fading off in the distance
I call out, an SOS

Triggers pulled, penetrating wounds continue

In the end
After you’re through
Again, you are able to see
And every single one of you
Will look around for me
“Where is she?”
But now I’m gone
You search and search
But it’s over
You find

No one.
