Excellent review of small tidbits of Japanese culture. I shall take this as a comment since I have not received any comments from you as of yet :P and since I am mentioned in the vlog. Pretty cool pretty cool pretty neat pretty neat :) I'm glad you don't feel too out of place in Japan. If you were living in Italy, then everyone there would be talking to you in Italian and would not be privy to your American expressions. So there you could talk as much shit as you want :D It would be pretty difficult to learn Japanese if you are talked to in English. There are software called The Rosetta Stone that uses language immersion to teach the language in no time at all, sometimes in a couple weeks if you are that dedicated. The programs are expensive though. As I suspected, Japan is way into baseball than we are. I definitely don't like watching baseball myself except like World Series events and stuff when its exciting. Filipino cuisine has some weird delicacies too. There's these duck eggs called Balut where the chick is eaten when it is still developing in the egg. I would never touch that stuff if they paid me to do it. And I think they did pay some people to eat it on Fear Factor. We do have dishes that uses pork belly and tounge. Um, oh and cow blood. It's called Dinuagan. Gross. Sashimi rocks! If I could afford it I'd it for sustenance. Sushi is basically a luxury for us here. $6-8 for 5 pieces of sashimi...$21 for a plate of 15 pieces. Sushi kicks ass and that would totally be a solid reason to move to Japan if I could get sushi at a cheap price. How much do you have to pay for sushi there? Do they believe its bad luck to stick your chopsticks in the bowl of rice? Saw that in a movie once. Some American dude stuck his chopsticks upright into the bowl and the Japanese family freaked out :D lol I also was wondering if everyone in the country knew how to kick ass in some martial art. Is karate and fighting skills inherent in those people or something? I keep thinking about the Karate Kid and how Mr. Miagi was the shit. I actually learned how to use chopsticks by watching the first film. LOL! Well can't think of any other questions. A vid comment would be nice to answer the ones I asked ;)
