Afraid?

People are sometimes amazing at some things but will never show any body there stuff. I don't know what makes them scared about showing it off. I think it might be there parents, or there friends mainly that scare them most. I write poetry, and some plays that I are supposed to be deep and not the usual comedy that I show my friends, because if they found out that I wrote that kind of stuff what would there reaction be? I see great actors all the time play comedy roles in a tv show, and then nobody can take seriously anymore and so they just can't get back into good acting. Thats sad, and I don't want that to be me, but if I showed my friends I know they wouldn't take is seriously and think it was a joke. Leaving me with hurt pride and no more will to write that kind of stuff ever again. Some one once told me that it's fear that drives us, but then where does it drive us?
