I don't know if this happens to anyone, maybe it does, but don't you have the tendency, when listening to a song, to create this scenario in your mind - almost like a video, of what you are hearing? You are automatically taken to an experience. It's we're drawn to a song because the lyrics are speaking to us. You almost feel like someone has been following you around for whatever period in your life you are going through, then going home to write about it, then recording a song just about you. You call up your best friend, "Lucy you should totally hear this song, it describes mine and Roy's breakup so perfectly." We all feel our own experiences are so unique, our own lives are so extraordinary. Sure, everyone gets hurt by another. Sure, you don't always get what you want, and YES, happiness does exist. But everything feels that much more sour/sweet when you know that you are the only one in this world going through something, good or bad. And there's nothing wrong with that. So yes, that song is about you, copy the lyrics, post them. Sometimes we just need to let the music speak for us.
