Beginning my Quarterlife

A friend turned me on to the show and then the site recently. The show, when each episode is watched in order, is quite good. The way the show was shot (and the inclusion of Dylan's video blog she created using her MacBook) got me interested in filmmaking - a field which I always thought was too difficult due to the editing process. But no more! My computer (also a MacBook) has got a built in camera and preloaded video editing software. I've even got an excuse to make a video.

Back to the comment on the show. It inspired me to get in to filmmaking because it gave me some ideas of some cool tricks I could do just using my computer and a backless, armless office chair.

Anyway, this is really exciting. I was looking for a place to begin a blog and this might just be the best place. The idea of a community built around content like this is really amazing!
