Blah ):

Mar 07, 2008 - 15:02 PM PST

I don't know what to do anymore. My so-called "friends" hate me, I no longer have my little group of friends. That doesn't even bother me that much because they weren't that great anyways. It just bothers me because now me and my boyfriend are having problems. For some reason, I can't just open up to him, we never talk. We've been together for 5 months and I still can't talk to him openly? What's my problem I hate it. I want to talk to him but for some reason I can't and it really sucks. And another thing, I've been super nervous lately for no reason at all. I'm always really uptight and I'm not even myself I hate this, something needs to change but I don't know what to do.

Just start by being honest with yourself. Why do you think your friends "hate" you? Do you think there is ANY truth to what they say? Not like you are in the wrong or anything but it always helps to really listen to the things the people closest to you say about who you are. That being said if they are just a bunch of jerks then f- them. You should be confident enough in who you are to know what they think is unimportant.

As for your man, again- start by being honest with yourself. Think about what you would say to him that you currently can't; if you can pin point what you're afraid of talking about while you're alone then maybe you can feel more comfortable bringing it up with him.

I have noticed you've been acting a little differently lately, I didn't read this till just now. We can talk later though. Don't forget though that you'll ALWAYS have me around as a friend, and we've been very open with each other. Anyway yeah. I hope theres something I can do to help.

I hear ya on the whole "friends" thing. I went through that in HS, too. It's a very HS thing...and I say that in a non-condescending, stereotyping way. Life goes on...time will tell which of them are the ones worth wasting tears over. =]
