Breaking the FastFeb 10, 2008 - 11:23 AM PST As I stood There After days and nights in forest's isolation Gazing out across the richness of the earth It felt good to be alive My gaze lighted here and there Hungrily Taking in the sights around From this height upon grand mountain I feasted upon the world without As time wore by I Heedless of it Indulged myself in the delicious fare: Precipices catching sun Looked like large golden biscuits The brush Scattered on the floor Gave the deception of green gumdrops Low clouds Crowning the festive scene Topped it all off like only Sweet cream could The encircling mountains Were like lords Adorned for a feast I saw the great boundary Of this kingly table: The sea Spread out like a fleecy carpet It felt good to be alive |
