Coinciding Contradiction

Drowning alone,
Surrounded by friends,

Blaming yourself for things you had no control over.

Gorging yourself,
Yet starving do death.

Feeling numb,
Yet feeling too much.

Wishing to die,
Wanting to really live.

Using pain outside as an excuse to ignore the pain inside.

Crying,
But never shedding a single tear,

Being a friend to so many,
Feeling friendless.

Hating love for the hurt it's caused you,
Longing for it.

Screaming silently for help.

Loving someone,
Pushing them away.

Wanting help,
Being too afraid to ask.

Doing all the right things,
Getting all the wrong results.

Trying to make everyone happy,
Being miserable.

Being happy,
Disappointing everyone.

This is my life,
My coinciding contradiction.
