Diary Of The Only One Lonely: I Am Insignificant

"You're insignificant to me"

How's that for a slap on one's face. I just got that and coming from someone I thought was nice really hurts like hell.

But when I think about it, it is a universal truth in my life. I am insignificant mostly (I'd say 90%) to those who are in my phone book, email addresses or my messenger list.

Knowing this, I feel sad. And it made me think. About a good friend I had once whom I still hold dear. I wonder if I am insignificant to him. And it made me wonder, is it worth it to keep someone good close to my heart but knowing that I mean nothing to him or her.

This new revelation is very disturbing. And having it coming at a bad time, I might be traumatized by it. Will I recover, I don't know. Will I ever be good, I don't know.

I'm speechless...
