Frogs

well, it's that time of year again. Here comes the chorus of the frogs! My pond is alive with them and it sounds nice...along with the rain. It's almost 7 pm and it's still light outside...this daylight savings time is strange stuff. the frogs remind me that it is springtime. i am excited about this season...it will bring some huge changes and exciting events. i'm ready to graduate from grad school, but i'm enjoying being a student for as long as possible. this semester is tough, but seems manageable. i am pretty tripped out that my best friend is getting married in may...actually i have 5 weddings to go to this spring/summer. that's only "so far"...there could be more!! most of them are back east too...lots of money to be spent flying here & there. plus i'm suppposed to get one of those pesky J.O.B.'s after graduation, so i don't even know if i'll be able to attend all these blessed events! paying my mortage comes first, i guess. this is such a weird age to be...29...it's like i'm on the verge of "real" adulthood (but i agree with dylan that we're all just pretending to be adults), haha. actually, my partner & i are really planning on getting pregnant this year! i really wanna have a baby, a child, a family...and i really feel like i'm ready for it all. my goal is to be pregnant by the end of this year. wow...first time i actually put that in writting! and to think it all started with the frogs...
