geeks and vitaminsJan 17, 2008 - 02:12 AM PST i found out that eating lots of vitamins helped me go through the toughest depression periods of my life. i've even started to think that depression might even be caused by lack of vitamins and nutrients... so i asked my doctor and he said it was totally possible! he said many teenagers are prone to depression due to lack of physical exercise and poor nutrition. So this particularly applies to geeks like me! I thought about my period in high school these last days and i remembered, getting picked on was happening at least once a week. Add that to poor nutrition and a little lack of self confidence(attributes wich characterizes most geeks in high school), and you've got yourself a pretty depressive person. Now when i was 15 years old i was probably the biggest fast-food eating lazy person around. as soon as i turned 17, i got help from a personal trainer and started eating better. Within a month i was a happy normal geek hahahah now i have to go back to the gym again! and just thinking of it makes me happy! ...just felt like sharing =) P.S.: EAT YOUR VITAMINS NICK! THE WINTER IS ALMOST OVER! YAY! |
