Hello all quarterlifers!

well this is just an introduction to the world of bubble princess. novel enthusiast, music fanatic and avant garde writer. I love writing blogs, essays, opinion pieces and the like. I am only 16 but here in Adelaide i am mostly invisible. Why's that you say? let's just say that Australian teenagers are blind to things such as personality and substance. All they see are your looks and don't look what's underneath the surface.

Thankfully i have my group of friends who are all diverse and different and they accept me for who i am. The thing is: Theyre only around at school for the remainder of this year because they are in the 12th grade. What i dont get with public schools here in australia is that the students only go there for socialization and not to learn anything. not that i'm a nerd or something it's just that i'm one of those few people who actually want to get somewhere in life, have a job, in the future a family and basically live a comfortable and happy life.

Everyday, i whiz through school wishing i were somewhere else mainly because i am invisible and no one notices me. I am resentful towards those who think they're better than me but actually aren't because they're stupid and they are low-lifes.

I moved here from the Philippines because my parents wanted to. I miss my life back there where i was surrounded by luxury. Drivers, maids everything done for me and i didn't have to do anything to get it. I miss my friends and the activities that i did back there: choir, writing and badminton. Grr! If only i didn't wear glasses or if only i were skinnier and prettier. Shallowness aside, I think my personality is okay in spite of my lack of beauty. Signing off- Bubble Princess
