I'll be taking you with me

I look down at my hands and I wonder
what will they look like when I reach 80
what will my skin look like, feel like
hell, I wonder if I'll reach 80 years old
I think about the twinkle in my eyes
I used to have it, I'd catch it at random times
but lately, I've been fading, I've been here
I've been slapped by reality, and this is big
I'm moving on with my life, I'm making changes
I will be taking a giant leap of faith towards goals
is this how I imagined everything going
I'm moving forward, I'm going to do things
but one things for sure, I'll be taking you with me
even if I'm only taking you in my heart
I know you don't care, but I'm doing that for me.
