I'm not slacking off, my image is rendering

Today I think I found the niche that I will live in for the rest of my life.

Welcome to Architectural Acoustics.

I have been officially interested in acoustics ever since I learned it was something you could get a masters in. I had one of those "whoa, I can actually do this for a living?" moments and have had it in the back of my mind ever since. But growing up dancing, playing and instrument and taking more than the required number of math and science classes I think it must have been preordained, haha. The acoustic gods have conspired to recruit me for their resonant causes. No complaints.

Today I met with Gary Siebeina professor at my school and an acoustics guru. He spent some time talking with me, sharing the ins and outs of industry, giving me some specifics about the program and generally quelling my apprehension about declaring acoustics as my masters degree. As I left he mentioned coming back and working part time for him over the summer if I was interested. HAHA YES! I didn't say that, don't worry, I think I mustered something gracious and dignified. Afterwords I was just a little giddy. Acoustics does that to me. So yeah, career path: chosen. Fantastic.
