Introducing Myself

My name is Gege. I was born and raised in Jamaica. It was difficult to move to the States. The language, although the same, the dialect or tongue is different. Jokes made no sense, interests were way off. A lot more differences than similarities. It has been 13 years, I have acclimated well enough, but I still feel like a visitor. The messed up thing about this is I could not go back to Jamaica and feel the way I did before I left. Too much have changed. I enjoy my life here, but I want to feel like I'm here. Don't like the feeling of just existing.

Anyhoo, I guess I need to change how I see or feel things. Stop living in stasis.

I enjoy all types of music, from Metallica to Tschicovsky. Love going to concerts. I was a concert whore last year. This year not so much. Have tickets to Linkin Park, so looking forward to it.

One of my goals before I turn 30 is to sky dive. The idea of free falling is scary but intriguing.
